Sydney based brothers, Jay & Jasper Somerville-Collie, have been song writing for as long as they can remember. Since signing with Sony Publishing in 1999, they have been song writing full time and have also co-written with artists in Australia and the USA. Their music catalogue includes a diverse range of styles including pop, country, rock, RNB, classical and children’s music.

As a songwriting team they have written over 600 songs, across multiple genres, and have had over 100 tracks officially released in Australia and Overseas. They have written songs for and with countless Australian and International artists such as Shannon Noll, David Campbell, Jon English, Luke Dickens, Haley Jensen, Phil Barton as well as Grammy Award winner Jim Lauderdale and Emmy Award winner Trey Bruce.

They have also been awarded two top three places and three honourable mentions in the International Songwriters Competition in both the Country and the Adult Contemporary categories.

From beginnings in classical music, Jay has developed as a singer/song writer and now enjoys composing, producing, and performing in a range of genres including pop, rock, country and music for film and television.

Jay’s production work in recent years includes the roles of Musical Director for the Channel 9 Australia children’s television show 'New MacDonald’s Farm', Musical Director for ATN7 for the children's television shows 'Toybox' and 'Pipsqueaks' as well as re-scoring music for 6 x DVDs for the travel and lifestyle program, 'Getaway'. Jay has also composed the Themes for 'The Today Show' on Channel 9 Australia and 'Wildlife Warriors' for Channel 10 Australia.

An award winning song writer and producer, Jasper is also an accomplished visual artist and graphic designer. When Jasper is not in the studio pursuing his love for song writing and production, he can be found focussing his creative talents on website development and graphic design.

In the last 15 years Jasper has been involved in the music production and artistic design of over 26 Albums and EP's and has also created websites for countless Australian and US artists.
